Hello, my name is Jody Renfro! I am a Northwest Missouri native, growing up in Ravenwood, MO where I graduated from Northeast Nodaway high school. I attended Northwest Missouri State University receiving a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sociology while I also worked for the University on a Violence Prevention Grant and Suicide Prevention Grant. After graduating I went on to work for Community Action Partnership’s Head Start as a Disabilities and Mental Health Coordinator. I then worked for Family Guidance Center working with youth and adults with behavioral/mental health concerns for three years. While there I realized I wanted to do more and started my Master’s of Education in Guidance and Counseling program. While working on my degree I worked for the Maryville School District coordinating the after school program through a 21st Century grant. Once my degree was completed, I went on to work for North Andrew School District as a 6-12 School Counselor for three years. During that time I knew I was still missing something, so I am currently working on my Specialist’s degree in School Psychology and I am the Behavior Interventionist for ACES. I am married and have two daughters that are 12 and 14 years old. I love working with children and youth and look forward to working with all of the districts in our consortium.
