ACES Director

Mrs. Paula Chambers is the Area Cooperative for Educational Support(ACES) Director. Mrs. Chambers received her Ed. S. and Special Education Administration certificate from Northwest Missouri State University, her M.Ed. from Baker University, and her B.S. in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education from Missouri Western State University.
Mrs. Chambers has 23 years of experience in the field of special education. She has experience as a behavior specialist for students with Autism as well as spending 13 years teaching in a cross categorical special education classroom. Mrs. Chambers taught special education at East Buchanan C-I in Gower, Missouri for 11 years and St. Joseph for 2 years, prior to becoming a Special Education Process Consultant for the St. Joseph School District for 4 years. She has spent the last 6 years as the Director of Student Services at West Platte R-II.
Mrs. Chambers has spent her entire life in Northwest Missouri and is familiar with the needs of small schools in Northwest Missouri. Mrs. Chambers continues to live on the same farm where she grew up with her husband, Scott. She has a daughter, Mallory and a son, Parker.​
